What is ozone?
Ozone is a natural gas composed of trivalent oxygen (O3) with a great oxidizing power. In nature it is formed thanks to electrical discharges during thunderstorms or thanks to the action of ultraviolet sunlight. It is known that an ozone layer protects our planet from violent UV-B sun rays, harmful to our health, while its properties of oxidants and disinfectants are less known.
Ozone properties
Ozone is able to degrade and eliminate any polluting or harmful element such as bacteria, viruses, mites, insects, spores, harmful chemicals, all in a totally natural way. A few minutes after use, the ozone is transformed into oxygen, without leaving any type of trace or chemical residue, without leaving unpleasant odors or stains on the fabrics.
Advantages and benefits
The ozone sanitization system has been defined as a “GRAS” safe agent by the F.D.A, the US Food and Drug Administration. In Italy the Ministry of Health, with protocol No. 24482 of 07/31/1996, recognized the ozone sanitization system as a natural aid for the sterilization of environments contaminated by bacteria, viruses, spores, etc. and infested with mites and insects.
In summary, the ozone sanitization treatment:
• Ecologically and naturally eliminates bacteria, viruses, mites, molds, fungi, spores and any type of parasite.
• Does not leave residual chemical traces, but turns into pure oxygen after use.
• Cleans and sanitises thoroughly, even the least accessible cracks, every surface it comes into contact with.
• It can be used to sanitize mattresses, sofas, armchairs, rugs, carpets, cars, environments, etc.
• It is a procedure recognized by the Ministry of Health
